Dr. Josef Raabe Slovensko Publishing House
The company was founded in 1999 as an organisational division of a Czech publishing house. It has operated independently since 2004 and is a member of the KLETT Group, one of today’s leading education publishers in Europe.
Dr. Josef Raabe Slovensko s.r.o. publishes more than a hundred different professional publications each year (educational publications, brochures, methodological guides, workbooks). It operates www.skolskyportal.sk, the largest community portal for teachers, provides refresher, innovative and functional training for educators, and organises annual professional conferences on education as well as online webinars and training sessions.
It works closely with top experts in Slovakia – authors, editors, lecturers and reviewers – ensuring high efficiency and practically oriented materials in the field of school management. It offers educational programmes for kindergarten teachers and for primary and lower-secondary school teachers, as well as for school principals. By organising professional conferences and workshops, it also facilitates targeted discussions between leaders in education and other experts on current topics at both national and European level.
